I enrolled at Pomona College knowing very little about the school. All that mattered to me six years ago was Pomona gave me the best financial aid package among the schools I had to choose from and that was the determining factor for me. This factor was enough for me to pack my bags and leave Ghana to settle in my new home in Claremont, CA. Little did I know that I was about to start a journey that would change my life forever.

Pomona equipped me with invaluable skills that have made me thrive in various places that I have found myself. The best way I developed these skills was simply by interacting with people - professors, alumni, staff, classmates, friends. I really do appreciate the opportunity to advise Sagehens on anything (I mean ANYTHING) because the best way I learned at Pomona, and continue to learn in the "real world", is from talking to people.
