Aloha! My name is Naohito and I come from Honolulu, Hawaii. Born in Japan, I moved with my family to the United States in 1997 when I was 8 years old. I got to Pomona College thanks to the QuestBridge College Match Program. I majored in International Relations and studied abroad one semester each in Argentina and Germany. I joined Teach For America in 2011 and worked as a special education and math teacher at Ewa Makai Middle School in Ewa Beach, Hawaii. Currently a Master of Divinity candidate at Harvard Divinity School, I'm away from campus this academic year for research in Angola with the Frederick Sheldon Traveling Fellowship. I look forward to getting in touch with current Pomona students! :)
