An Arizona native, I moved to California to be a Sagehen and graduated as a pre-medical student with a degree in Politics in 2012. I loved every moment at Pomona and was involved in a variety of activities while there including the Associated Students of Pomona College, Pomona Events Committee, Residence Hall Staff, intramural sports, and much more. After graduating, I worked on President Obama’s reelection campaign out of headquarters in Chicago, which then led me to a position within First Lady Michelle Obama’s office doing scheduling and advance. I later transitioned to working on healthcare policy and implementation of the Affordable Care Act at the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services. After working for the Obamas for three years, I moved back home to Arizona to pursue my medical degree and a Masters in Public Health. I will graduate with my MD MPH in 2019 and will hopefully follow that with a residency in Internal Medicine. Please feel to reach out if I can be helpful in any way and I look forward to meeting you!
