Hi all! My name is Jackie and I'm originally from Oregon. I'm currently a Masters student at Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health in the Department of Population, Family, and Reproductive Health. I had worked in the Bay Area before graduate school.

My interests range from public health to social justice to healthcare operations and quality improvement. I've worked in a variety of settings, including academic institutions, large health plan, hospitals, international NGO, health start up, smaller nonprofits, and social service organizations, allowing for exposure to a diverse range of organizational structures within public health and healthcare.

College was a great time for exploring my interests, especially during the summers! Happy to chat about navigating undergrad and the world as a first-generation student, summer internships, college athletics and retirement beyond graduation, applying to graduate school, deciding between many career paths, etc.
