I started Pomona thinking I would be neuro/premed and ended up in product management. As a first year, I played violin in the orchestra and tutored middle schoolers, things I had done in high school. As a senior, I ran on the track team, worked for ASPC, and organized the 5C Hackathon and ACM-W, things I never ever imagined I would do.

What's the moral of the story? Fam, life is unexpected and your plans are going to change, ** no matter how hard you try to stay on course **. So allow yourself to change and be changed -- at Pomona and beyond. That's my #1 piece of advice. And do something you've never done before! Learn a new language, try a new sport, join a random club -- you never know what you'll find.

Happy to chat about product management, the tech industry, being a woman in tech, studying abroad (I went to Budapest), switching majors, starting a club on campus, long distance relationships, mental health resources, music and orchestra, running and the track team, politics, the weather, NorCal vs. SoCal, and anything else really.

Some final advice -- follow your heart, always. You are amazing, valuable, and ENOUGH, and you're going to kill it.
